Ice skating lessons
Learn how to ice skate by taking our six-week courses. Courses for the 2025/26 winter season are not yet on sale, but our ice rink will be returning on 18 October 2025.
Lessons will be available to book closer to the time.
Ice skating lessons at the Eden Project
Each course consists of weekly 30-minute ice skating lessons that run for six consecutive weeks.
Skaters participating in lessons, as well as accompanying parents and guardians, must also have a valid form of admission to the Eden Project and there is a minimum age of 6 years.
Although lessons include boot hire, we highly recommend you bring your own ice skates.
Private lessons are also available, and are booked directly through our skating coaches dependent on their availability.

Get discounted ice skating and exclusive practice sessions with a Lesson Skater Pass
Winter 2025/26 Lesson Skater Passes are not yet available, but more details will be released closer to the time.
Anyone who is an experienced skater or taking skating lessons can benefit from a Lesson Skater Pass. Experienced skaters include anyone who is practicing or competing, or has competent skating skills.
With this Pass you can enjoy half price general skating sessions, and also access our exclusive Ice Patch sessions so that you can practice your skills. The Pass includes entry to the Eden Project while the ice rink is open, and can be bought at any point during the season. Passes have to be purchased when you are at the Eden Project, so please speak to our ice rink team when you visit.
Ice Patch sessions
Our Ice Patch sessions are perfect for experienced skaters and those undertaking group lessons or working with a private coach. With very limited capacity, these sessions are an ideal time to practice spins, jumps and skills to progress further.
You must have a Lesson Skater Pass to book this sessions, and they run most weeks during term time on selected evenings throughout the winter.
