Ice Patch sessions
Our Ice Patch sessions give experienced skaters and those taking ice skating lessons the chance to use our ice rink to practice. These sessions allow a very limited number of skaters onto the ice, giving you the space to practice spins, jumps and skills to improve your technique.
Our ice rink is currently closed, but will be returning on 18 October 2025 for the winter season and Ice Patch sessions will be available to book closer to the time. You must have a Lesson Skater Pass, which can only be purchased when you are at the Eden Project, so please speak to our Ice Rink Team when you visit.
What is a Lesson Skater Pass?
To qualify for a Lesson Skater Pass, you must be taking ice skating lessons or be an experienced skater. Experienced skaters include anyone who is practicing or competing, or has competent skating skills.
A Lesson Skater Pass must be bought at the Eden Project when you are visiting our ice rink.
With this Pass you can book Ice Patch sessions as well as enjoy half price general skating sessions. The Pass is valid until the ice rink closes for the season, and includes entry to the Eden Project. It can be bought at any point during the winter season, and prices for the 2025/26 Pass will be released closer to the time.
