Eden Project Locals' Pass

Between 26 December 2024 and 5 January 2025 Locals' Pass Holders can bring a guest into the Eden Project for free, and get 10% off in all food venues and gift shops on site. A Locals' Pass holder must be accompanying their guest on arrival, tickets are limited and must be pre-booked ahead of your visit. 

To claim 10% off purchases you must present your Locals' Pass at the start of the transaction. 

Who can I bring?

Every Locals' Pass holder can bring one like-for-like guest or someone who's age entitles them to a cheaper admission rate than the accompanying Locals' Pass Holder. Check the list below to see who you can bring:

• Adult Pass Holder: one guest of any age
• Senior Pass Holder: one guest who is aged either 60+ or under 26
• Student/Young Adult Pass Holder: one guest who is under the age of 26
• Child Pass Holder: one guest who is under 17 (children must be accompanied by an adult)
• Family Pass Holder: up to two adult guests (17+) and two child guests (under 17)
• Individual Family Pass Holder: up to one adult guest (17+) and two child guests (under 17)

Children under the age of five get free entry to the Eden Project, with a maximum of four under 5s per accompanying adult. Under 5s must have a free pre-booked time slot to guarantee entry.

How do I book? 

You can book this offer online by selecting how many Locals' Pass holders will be attending, followed by your visit date and time. When you continue to checkout, there will be the option to add your free guest/s.

Can my guest stay for the Christmas lights? 

Yes, if you visit us on 27–30 December and 2–5 January, our Christmas lights experience will be running. If you book any time slot in the day, you and your guest(s) can stay until we close at 8pm.

Is ice skating free for my guest?

No, all Locals' Pass holders and their guests must book ice skating tickets. We'd recommend pre-booking your session to avoid disappoint. 

Does my guest need to live in Cornwall or Devon?

No, your guest can live anywhere, so you are welcome to bring friends and family who are visiting you over the Christmas period.

Locals’ Passes are available exclusively to residents of Cornwall and Devon, and purchasers do require proof of residence. When you first visit with your Locals' Pass please bring with you the appropriate forms of identity, chosen from the list below:

Proof of residence with photo ID

Ideally, you should bring one piece of identity that shows your primary residence in either Devon or Cornwall (i.e. postcodes starting with TR, PL, TQ or EX), and has your photo on, such as a driving licence showing your current address.

Or:

Non-photo proof of residence plus photo ID

If your photo ID does not show your Cornwall or Devon address (i.e. it is a bus pass or work badge and does not show your address), please also bring in additional proof of your residence in Cornwall or Devon, such as a utility bill.

Or:

Three forms of proof of residence

If you have no photo ID at all, please bring three pieces of identity that show residence in either Devon or Cornwall (i.e. postcodes starting with TR, PL, TQ or EX), such as utility bills.

Proof of residence for children

Buying a Locals' Pass for your child as well? Simply bring them along with you, and we'll use your own proof of residence. If you're sending them along with an adult who doesn't live at your house, please get them to bring in your own proof of residence.  

All visitors to Eden are strongly encouraged to pre-book a time slot in advance of each visit, including Locals' Passholders.

Direct Debit

Buying a Pass via Direct Debit saves you money, and your Pass will renewal automatically each year. Find out how to amend your Direct Debit renewal below. 

Non Direct Debit

This is a one off card payment. Your Pass will expire one year after purchase. You can purchase a new Pass using the button at the top of this page. 

If you renew your Locals' Pass by Direct Debit, each year we will notify you by email (or post if you have requested) about your automatic renewal at least 10 working days in advance of the renewal date, as agreed in the Direct Debit guarantee.

If we're unsuccessful in renewing your Locals' Pass via Direct Debit, we'll be in touch to let you know and you'll need to repurchase your Pass using the button at the top of this page. 

Activating your renewed Pass

Any Passholders who are renewing their Pass by Direct Debit won’t need to get a re-issued card. Please simply bring along your existing Pass(es) when you visit. Any new Passholders in the family should also bring a suitable form of identification.

Amending your renewal

If you need to let us know about any changes to your Direct Debit renewal (such as switching to a different type of Locals' Pass, such as from Adult to Senior, or Child to Adult, please contact us to let us know ahead of the renewal date (via 01726 811972 or boxoffice@edenproject.com).

Cancelling your renewal

If you would like to cancel your Direct Debit renewal, please contact us to let us know ahead of the renewal date (via 01726 811972 or boxoffice@edenproject.com). We would advise you to cancel this directly with your bank as well. 

Proof of age

Please bring a valid form of ID stating your date of birth.

Student ID

When you visit, please bring proof of being a full-time student (such as an NUS Extra card or a student ID card). 

Alongside this you'll also need valid proof of residence, see above for details.
