October half-term: Halloweden
Thank you for joining us for another spooktacular Halloweden! This October half-term, things got a little creepy (crawly), as we explored the freaky and fascinating world of minibeasts.
Discover the magic of minibeasts
Don't miss our magnificent minibeast show presented by our friends at ZooLab. Be brave and get up close to some of Earth’s small but mighty animals – from giant African snails to Chilean tarantulas. Shows will happen daily in the Citrus Grove (Mediterranean Biome) at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. These are drop-in shows that do not require pre-booking.
Trek through our Rainforest Biome on an adventure to discover some not-so-mini-beasts created by cardboard sculptors Studio ROOF. From the sound of the ghost crab's grinding teeth found in its guts, to the sticky web of the orb weaver spider – are you fearless enough to find them all on our wondrous trail through the tropics?
Explore our pumpkin wonderland
Head to Myth and Folklore in our Outdoor Gardens where hidden between the trees you'll find a spellbinding display of over 500 pumpkins, all grown right here at Eden.
Roll up, roll up! Try our Bug Fair challenges
Explore our Bug Fair and take part in activities to entertain the whole family, from sticky spider slingshots and slimy snail racing, to teeny tiny crafts. Our vintage Bug Fair will be open from 10.30am–4pm in the Arena, next to the ice rink.
All these activities are free with a Locals' Pass or general admission.
Our ice rink is back!
Lace up your skates – Cornwall's only ice rink is back! Add an extra bit of sparkle to your half-term – gather your loved ones and head to our glittering ice rink for your first skate of the season.
Additional charge applies and all skaters require valid Eden admission.
