We’ve created inspirational spaces for kids here at Eden because we know that outdoor play can improve health, imagination, cognitive skills and self-esteem – all essential ingredients for a happy and successful young person.

Nature's Playground

Our spectacular natural adventure play area is brimming with imaginative, sensory play. Its bespoke design and joyful handcrafted details makes for a play experience like no other. 

Please be aware that water play is a key sensory element of the playground, so we recommend that you come prepared for your child(ren) to get wet. 

Minibeast Mansion play area at Eden Project

Minibeast Mansion play tower

Kids get the chance to crawl into their own giant ‘bug hotel’ in our Minibeast Mansion play tower. Under-10s can clamber, creep, and slide through the hexagonal wooden structure and explore its intricate compartments. It’s designed to help children enjoy ‘wild play’, as well as introduce little ones to the subject of pollination.

∞ Blue (Infinity Blue)

At almost nine metres tall and weighing twenty tonnes, ∞ Blue is an immersive installation that pays homage to cyanobacteria, one of the world’s smallest living beings. ∞ Blue (Infinity Blue) is one of the world’s largest ceramic sculptures. Come and see if you can catch its vapour rings!

Tunnel of Love exhibit

Take a stroll through the Tunnel of Love for planet-friendly top tips and inspiration on how to make positive changes for the planet. Try your hand at spin the wheel, pinball and of course the high striker! Looking after the planet doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be joyful and exciting.

Spiral Garden

This sensory garden behind our Core building is perfect for exploring with children. It has all kinds of inspirational ideas for making a low-cost school or community garden in a small space on the north side of a building: willow spirals, rainbows of flowers, soft paths, and plants that are textured, spooky or scented.

Core Play Café

The Core Play Café is the perfect stop for families. Offering a selection of games for you to play as a family whilst you enjoy simple, family-friendly lunches such as jackets potatoes and toasties as well as a selection of kids meals, snacks and drinks.
