Guided tours of the Eden Project

The Eden Project has added two exclusive, in-depth guided tours to its bookable experiences, providing visitors with an immersive exploration of the charity’s world-renowned Biomes, sustainable practices and horticultural expertise.

The Immersive Horticulture Experience and Ultimate Eden Experience offer an enhanced understanding and exclusive access to the Eden Project’s vast plant collections.

The Immersive Horticulture Experience invites plant enthusiasts to become gardeners for the day and work alongside Eden Project horticulturists in the Mediterranean Biome. This hands-on six-hour experience, which includes a private tour of the Mediterranean Biome, will allow participants to get up close with unusual plants from around the globe and learn propagation techniques, biocontrol methods, garden design and insider gardening tips.

The interactive session includes lunch, refreshments, complimentary gifts - including an Eden-grown plant and gardening gloves – priority parking and fast-track entry, and a one-year unlimited pass.

The Ultimate Eden Experience is the most comprehensive tour available to the public, offering exclusive access to some of the Eden Project’s most captivating and innovative spaces, including areas typically closed to visitors.

The six-hour experience, designed for up to four guests, includes a dedicated tour of the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes. The tour then takes visitors beyond the Biomes to visit the state-of-the-art, geothermally-heated plant nursery, Growing Point, to learn how the Eden Project sustainably cultivates plants for its gardens and food for its restaurants.

Visitors will continue their journey into the vast Outer Estate to explore therapeutic gardens, heritage apple orchards and hidden landscapes in a private electric vehicle.

This in-depth experience includes a two-course lunch and refreshments, priority parking and fast-track entry, complimentary gifts and a year-long unlimited pass.

Simon Townsend, general manager at the Eden Project, said: “The Eden Project has always been about creating that deeper connection with plants and nature, through imaginative storytelling, thought-provoking art and engaging exhibits. These premium experiences allow visitors to delve even deeper into the history and inner workings of the Eden Project, uncovering plant stories and their historical, cultural and ecological significance.

“Our Immersive Horticulture and Ultimate Eden experiences join our dedicated bookable tours of the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes. With Christmas just around the corner, they’re the perfect gift for the person who has everything.”
