You and your loved one will then take your seats for dinner for an alfresco style dinner by candlelight, where you’ll enjoy a locally sourced three-course meal, whilst enjoying the evening’s entertainment by 4tissimo string quartet. See what's on the menu.

The evening ends with a coffee or ‘Love’ tea and a delicious selection of handcrafted petits fours.

Why we hold this event

Our annual Valentine’s Dinner offers the chance to dine after dark at Eden, while enjoying fresh produce grown and harvested locally and around our indoor and outdoor gardens.

Diners are welcomed with a glass of organic English sparkling wine, alternatively are offered a glass of non-alcoholic spirit, Pentire and Navas tonic both produced in Cornwall. Our wine list carefully curated by our friends at Collectivino to ensure that the wine offered is sustainably sourced.

Our chefs have created a three-course menu, which is inspired by the locality, seasonality and setting. We use produce that has been grown in a vegetable patch located just outside the Rainforest Biome and other items sourced directly from the Mediterranean Biome. We believe it’s important to use home-grown produce as part of our dishes to demonstrate the journey from plough to plate.

85% of the ingredients used at Eden are locally-sourced from within Cornwall. Using our own harvested produce alongside these ingredients is just one way we are working towards becoming a climate positive organisation by 2030.

Along with this, our events team work really hard to ensure that we have accurate meal numbers and quantities so our chefs can prep the correct amounts in order to reduce food wastage.
